These miniature bee paintings were inspired by memories of my grandfather, a beekeeper who spent countless hours tending his hives while I played nearby as a child. He taught me to appreciate the honeybee—not only for the honey it produces, but for the important role it plays in the world around us.

Each painting is created on primed cardboard, sealed with fixative, and finished with Gamvar gloss varnish for protection and richness of color. Though small in scale, these pieces celebrate the beauty, resilience, and quiet importance of the honeybee.
